Official documents - electronic version

In order to limit the risk of counterfeiting, the Secretary General's Office of Université Laval does not use official seals nor handwritten signatures when issuing official documents in electronic format.

In order to digitally sign its official documents and thus certify their origin, authenticity and integrity, the Secretary General's Office uses ConsignO Cloud from Notarius. Founded in 1996 by the Chambre des notaires du Québec, Notarius has a diversified clientele including a multitude of private companies, government agencies and state corporations as well as several professional associations and orders. Documents signed with ConsignO Cloud are immediately recognized by Adobe, without any configuration. In addition, the authenticity and integrity of issued documents can be verified online at any time and by anyone using Notarius' Verifio service.
