The scientific director of the social engagement vision is responsible for ensuring that social engagement remains an integral part of Université Laval’s mission of teaching, research, and service to the community.
Social Engagement Conference
The governance structure also includes a participatory body known as the Social Engagement Conference. All members of the broader university community (faculty, staff, students, retirees, and alumni) are welcome to contribute to the vision and help set priorities. The conference will be held on an annual basis.
Social engagement steering committee
The role of the social engagement steering committee is to represent key stakeholders involved in developing social engagement within the university community and to foster synergy among them.
