You will help design, manufacture, perfect, and operate equipment used in the aerospace and aeronautics industry as well as in the fields of health, energy, and mechanics. 

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent degree.

Applicants who hold a master’s degree in another university than Université Laval are eligible. However, the program director may require students to do qualifying coursework depending on their previous training. The program director may require applicants to do qualifying coursework, depending on their previous education and research interests.

Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 3.00 out of 4.33 or the equivalent.

French and English proficiency

Although knowledge of French or English is not a prerequisite for admission, students must be able to read and understand texts in French or in English to successfully complete this program. Students who are not proficient enough in these languages may have difficulty in their studies. Students must ensure that they have a good understanding of French or English and, if necessary, take steps to improve their language skills during their studies (for example at Université Laval’s language school). In the event of significant deficiencies, program direction can impose corrective measures.
