Université Laval named one of Canada’s best employers by Forbes

Québec City, January 26, 2019 – Today, Forbes released its Canada’s Best Employers ranking, placing Université Laval ninth on the list of Canada’s top employers across all industries and first in the Quebec City Area. Université Laval ranked third among educational institutions in Canada and first in Québec.

The ranking is based on an online survey of a representative sample of over 8,000 part-time and full-time employees at Canadian organizations with more than 500 employees.

“We are very proud to be recognized as an employer of choice and we share this honour with the 9,500 members of our staff who dedicate their talent and expertise to promoting the university every day,” said Lyne Bouchard, Vice Rector of Human Resources at Université Laval.
