    MNG-6525 Competing in a Global Arena : an Integrative Project

    The purpose of this integrative project is to promote the development of international management skills. Students will be asked to examine an enterprise or business problem with international components. They will then analyse it using concepts and tools learned in the MBA Global Business program. The goal is to conduct and conclude a substantial analysis of issues affecting global businesses. These issues may be strategic and/or concern a specific aspect of the limits of operating in a globalizing environment (ex. : production strategies, innovation strategies, product orientation, etc.).

Students that have previously taken this course can’t subscribe to this one. Only one of those two courses will be accepted. Students must have 24 credits in their program in order to register for this course. Important: please read the GUIDE D’UTILISATION DE L’ACTIVITÉ SYNTHÈSE at www.fsa.ulaval.ca/activitesynthese. This course, given in hybrid delivery mode, combines varying proportions of classes offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher and synchronous or asynchronous online classes, according to a predetermined schedule. In-person classes are not recorded. Where synchronous online courses take place, the recording procedures are indicated in the course outline. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.
